Thread: Top 10 Pop Punk Albums? (non-Ramones)

  1. The last one I picked up was the split with "Full of Fancy." Do they have another split out right now?

  2. #182
Yeah. It should be on their myspace page? They have four records out. three 7" and one 12"

  3. I don't know how I missed that one. I'll have to pick it up when I get the chance.

  4. Uhhh... what's going on here:

Ewwww! All you have to do is look at the hair styles and you'll know how shitty the music is. All the guys have that same gay looking hair style, and I don't think I've seen anybody look like that in real life.

Also, the singer in that last band "The Years Gone By" sounds eerily like Jordan from New Found Glory.

  6. Some more GAY bands you might want to check out so you can laugh at them:

Pop-punk at its finest if you ask me.

  7. The Sidekicks have a new album coming out on September 15th now. See, this is what I'm talking about with these pop-punk releases. Half these bands announce the albums like a month or two before they're released. If I would have known The Sidekicks had a new album coming out I would have added it to the list in my post above. September is shaping up to be a good month: Banner Pilot, Teenage Bottlerocket, and The Sidekicks. Awesome.

Anyways, the album is titled "Weight of Air", and they have a new song posted, titled "Almost the Same."

After hearing this song, I'm really surprised in the direction this band is going. So, Long Soggy Dog sounded much more raw and almost like they wanted to be the second coming of The Lawrence Arms/D4. This new song is poppy as fuck, even more so than their "Sam EP", and I'm digging the ever living hell out of it. Makes me wonder if Brendan Kelley likes the direction of the new album, considering the fact that he was hailing them as his new favorite band after Soggy Dog was released.

  8. I see they're playing about a mile from me at Meat Town USA soon. Incidentally, the worst venue name on the planet.

  9. I just came to say don't you dare sully the name of Def Leppard, you prick.
