Weren't you arguing with Glass Joe about this same concept? That if Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith traded places and so on? I find this an interesting position you're taking.

Also, let's introduce some facts regarding QBs into this discussion:

    Romo: 63.1% Completions, 1.70 TD/INT Ratio, 93.3 Rating
    Roethlisberger: 63.2% Completions, 1.45 TD/INT Ratio, 90.0 Rating

Give Romo Pittsburgh's coaching staff and their division, and I think the rings are on different fingers.
Mike Shanahan would be a scary proposition on them Cowboys. Wade is such a joke, I don't know why anyone would want to hire the fat fuck after the first go around.

And he's a shit for brains pundit which is an obvious flaw no matter what side of an "argument," one takes.

He's not a bad defensive coordinator, but he's a terrible head coach. Going from Bill Parsells to him was the downgrade of the century.

You can call me a shit for brains pundit all day if I had enough money to buy part of an NFL team.

  6. When the Broncos released Shanahan, I wanted the Texans to gobble him up and keep a monopoly on Shanahans. I just don't know what he'd do =/ Actually, we could use Wade more (D coordinator). I'd be pretty skeerd of a Shanahan coached Cowboys. I hope it never happens.

Ahem. Don't feel so sorry for yourself. I think Joe Gibbs to Jim Zorn was the downgrade of the century. At least Wade Phillips actually had some head coaching experience before being named Head Coach for Dallas.

  8. That would be true if Gibbs was the Gibbs who retired the first time. He was not the same guy his second go around.

  9. That's irrelevant considering Gibbs still got the team into the playoffs 2 out the 4 years he was HC and helped rebuild the team (see additions of Moss, Portis, Chris Cooley, Sean Taylor (R.I.P.), Phillip Daniels, London Fletcher, Cornelius Griffin, Randy Thomas, Rocky McIntosh, and Laron Landry).

At least Gibbs knew how to evaluate talent. Zorn doesn't. The only thing Zorn has going for him is that he's more of an aggressive playcaller than Gibbs. Other than that, getting Zorn after Gibbs is a MAJOR downgrade.

Yeah, but Parcells is way better than Gibbs.
