I love how that ad refers to the "Turbo-8".

A few things:

1) Eternal Champions is not good, so please stop listing it as a plus in the fighting game category.
2) Mercs shouldn't be cited either because the Genesis version didn't have two-players simultaneous.
3) Streets of Rage and Streets of Rage 3 kind of sucked, so Streets of Rage 2 is the only valid game in the series to be mentioned.
4) Why have none of you mentioned Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master? That game is the motherfuckin' shit.
5) Also no mention of Out of this World or Flashback? Those game rocked on the Genesis.
5) M.U.S.H.A. is overrated because you can get through the whole game blindfolded by just holding down the fire button and moving your mech around randomly.
6) How come no one is comparing racing games? F-Zero still holds up well today.
7) The Contra Hard Corps love baffles me. The game felt like as if some cartoon studio got a hold of the Contra license and turned it into a Saturday morning cartoon, and then Konami made a game based off of that. A mini robot and werewolf man? Pfft.

And holy crap, that Final Fight CD code actually does help the gameplay. It still doesn't punch fast enough, but it's not stuttering all over the place either. And this is with me still tapping the attack button. Holding down ain't my style.
I mean, it's still wrong. But, much better than the total gameplay disaster I thought it was.

So, all Sega needed was a $200 CD add-on and a secret code to only fall a little bit short of the gameplay in the SNES Final Fight.
