  1. Ristar needed a remake more IMO.

This project bounced around for longer than most people know. At one point it was being worked on for Xbox.

I like SoR2, but I'll admit 6 stages would've been a decent length still (this would've been a total of about 45 mins. probably). Using two of the stages as alternate paths (i.e. after stage 2 is cleared, you could then choose the amusement park or ballpark for stage 3) would've been better than requiring all 8 to be played in one shot.

Happy BD Genesis, you're not a teen anymore.

Weren't a lot of the resources for the Chakan remake used in another game? Was it Soul Reaver?

  6. I heard that, but I'm not sure about the game.

Man, looking through my carts, which I haven't played in forever... there's Trouble Shooter. Woof! So bad its good. Loved the bosses.
Look out, man, Wooly's gone ape-shit.

  7. Interesting. Blood Omen 2 was not good.

  8. Maybe it was for the better, then.

Also, dig the mural in Blood Omen 2 that kinda looks like Chakan getting impaled. Heh.

  9. The genesis was a classy little system, though it was then and still is now a very definite second place to the snes.

Really no comparison as far as I'm concerned.

I never really liked altered beast either. Fun for about three levels and that's it.
