Well, for my part, I think In Flames, Metallica, and Voivod are more or less in the same boat, if only because all three bands' best days are far behind them. Voivod's first albums are much better than that piece of shit talked about in that news story, which is as flaccid as a limp dick.

I'll personally wait and see if Newsted's steel is true or not; I'm not about to rally behind him just because he talked shit about Metallica (even if it is true).

Plus, I personally don't see much difference between touring with Limp Dick/Linkin' Pork and Ministry/Mudgayne, but that's me.

Plus, I don't think there's any way that Metallica will sound like any of the Entombed recordings that matter. Let's face it, Entombed have pretty much sucked since Clandestine. If Metallica's new album picks up where Dismember's "Like An Everflowing Stream" left off, THEN you can color me impressed (but I still won't buy it; I won't support Lica in any way or another anymore).

No reason to get angry dude - from what I had heard awhile back, the organizer dude said something about November being a good month for the festival to take place - I didn't realize he changed it. Chill out for fucks sake. You want my advice, keep the badges and bring along some friends to the festival with you - have a good time - enjoy yourself - and feel fortunate that you get to have great shows like that near where you live - others aren't so lucky.

haha, near? I don't consider Mississippi near. But is closer than driving to the areas that bands usally play at. Metal bands apparently HATE mississippi. They never come here.

I assumed "near" on the basis of you being able to attend the Progpower 2002 - unfortunately I left my 'all knowing locater of all living things' device in my other jacket. Whatever, I'm in Texas - and its certaintly a little bit farther than Mississippi to Atlanta.

IP, you may want to lay off here. You certainly aren't making a very good impression by attacking people just for getting something wrong. When you act like this I can see why so many people are so negative towards you. :P

And Mississipi is closer to Georgia than Texas is, that's for damn sure. Asides that, most of us have obligations or restrictions that make taking trips to any damn place in the States a little bit hard.

I didn't know you hated cops. Granted, I don't exactly cherish the fuzz myself when they seem to spend more time giving out tickets than going after legit threats (like that guy that was waving a shotgun around in front of me last year)...

I actually tried to go onto the Gamefaqs metal board today. Sweet Jesus Christ on a Ritz cracker, I've never seen so many ass-kissing, ingratiating posers in my life. And since it's a moderated board I couldn't deliver a verbal beating, because those people will erase your messages if you so much as call someone a twerp. Fucking morons are so sensitive they bleed if touched.

What is hilarious is getting berated by a "tr00 Satanist" for saying that Marilyn Manson is about as sincere about Satanism as Motley Crue's first album was...

I've also been hanging on Metal-Archives' board lately, and it's really hilarious that some users think that they deserve to decide how the site is run better than the people that run it, just because they've submitted a few bands.

I cant stand cops either, when i had a mustang i got pulled over all the time for no reason except that im young and mexican especially if i was in rich area's around here. I had even a cop walk up to me and ask right off if i had been arrested before. =/
