It looks like Cradle of Filth is gonna be playing at ozzfest, my local eminem loving "rock" station mentiond them on the bill but on the second stage which sucks.
good news for tracer and I is that the in flames dates with mudvayne END right before the houston date - just right before - so our show is just In Flames headlining with marzi opening... never heard of the latter really.
Ok, so I went to a movie earlier, and my friend had the radio set to the alternative station. They played an In Flames song. I was horrified to hear metal so butchered. Yes, I know this is begging for trouble, but I call 'em like I hear 'em.
Hey - call me ignorant - but what does the (sic) thing mean at the end of your screenname... what does it stand for. B/c I see that written everywhere these days.
I'm pretty sure (sic) means a mispelling that was already there when you got it from somewhere else. I'm guessing he copy and pasted CorruptedOldGnom from somewhere, but instead of adding the "e" he decided to be clever and added "(sic)".
I think.
What In Flames song was it? I often thought about what it would be like if heard In Flames for the first time listening to a different song. I came to the conclusion that if Metaphor was the first In Flames song I heard, I would've shrugged them off as nu-metal and never even bothered. Well, here's to Man Made God.
I took the name from the lyrics to Blind Guardian's "The Last Candle", on the lyric sheet it says "corrupted old gnom", so yeah, it's just addressing a spelling error.
The song was called "Cloud Connected", I'm guessing it's from their latest album which I've heard scary things about.
