Legendary Axe was one of the best carts on the TG-16. The sequel was mediocre. Not terrible on its own merits, but it paled in comparison to its predecessor. (Just like there are far worse consoles than the N64, but the SNES blew it away.)

I figured that's what this thread was about, the sequel compared to the original. If the thread is supposed to mean horrible games that happen to be sequels, then I'd point to the Army Men sequels.
