Thread: Xbox Wi-Fi

  1. Xbox Wi-Fi

So I moved into a new house and the set up here is wi-fi only. What's the cheapest doohickey I can get to get online? I'm not buying the $100 official thing, and I'm of the impression that regular USB adapters don't work. Any recommendations?

A bridge or the original Xbox adapter.

  3. Hundred feet of cable.

I run my Xbox through my PC anyway, so it's all part of the same setup. Is there an easy way to do it with that?

It's a big house and the adapter is on the third floor, so yeah, not going to work.

Can someone please tell me how to do this, since it involves things I have?

  9. I googled "how to use your laptop as an xbox 360 access point"

    and got this http://www.tomsguide.com/us/pictures...less-free.html

  10. Every time I do that, I lose my wi-fi connection on the PC side. I have to disable the local connection to get it back...

EDIT: Ah, figured it out, had to bridge the connections. Works. Thanks for the help.
