Freeware shooters - Where?

All this talk about shooters lately has made me want to try out some new ones. There used to be a site with a bunch of freeware shooters, but apparently it is now dead(the link i had no longer works). I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar site that has freeware(not pirated) shooters to download? Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and by shooters I mean games like Strikers 1945, Gigawing, Mars Matrix, you get the idea, not Doom, Quake and the like.

I downloaded a game called Storm Caliber Clustias Final Attack last night, and wow. This game is amazing! Though it is too easy because I was actually able to beat it without continuing. With as much as I love shooters I've never been able to do that. If you slightly touch the bullets it will send attacks flying back at your enemies. Anyone have any recommendations for good shooters to get? I got a few others but the only one that compares to Storm Caliber was Rally Raid(which I downloaded a long time ago).

Well, the trend of easiness continues, after posting this message last night I downloaded Cho Ren Sha 68K. Great game, but I don't know if I just got overly good at shooters or something, but I beat it on one credit. Almost one life, but a bout of slowdown in the second level 5 cause me to get blasted. Figures because i never died after that. I even got through the final boss(who was insane) without getting hit and without using bombs. Did I mention this was my first time playing?

Thanks for the recommendations Mechdeus. Also, with GenocideCircuit2(I believe that is the name. The one with the "hentai pic backgrounds") you can slow the game down to make it playable. The option is in the option menu(duh), but I'm not sure what it's called. This was one of the games I downloaded a long time ago so my memory is foggy. All i know is there is a way to slow it down.
