Peace Walker is a direct continuation of MGS3. I haven't played those same titles, but I do know that the Acid series is considered a side story that doesn't really tie in. I guess the only one would be Portable Ops since that one stars Big Boss.

By that logic, because there wasn't a huge hype train drummed up for MGS Touch, nobody cares about the iPhone.

DJ, you should be okay to go straight to peace walker, as Portable Ops' story is irrelevant to the overall plot. It really only details why Big Boss left America and how he became a leader instead of just a soldier. However, if the game interests you play it first, I liked Portable Ops but Peace Walker shits all over it.

I bought this today. So it has Co-op but its only local?? WTF? Is there any points in the game where I need more players? Also, is it possible to go into cover but not have to hold the button in? Other than that this game is pretty awesome. Much better than Portable Ops! The slight auto aim makes this very playable.
