It's directed by Jason Reitman. That guy's movies all have this douchey vibe I find off-putting. Up in the Air got away with it because Clooney was so good but his others, ugh.

They filmed this in a bar near my neighborhood. I took pics of the production and interviewed their PR lady for a local paper. Sounded like a fairly lame movie at the time.
