Thread: December 09 Hauls

  1. Stopped in Best Buy yesterday while I was out and found this headset in the clearance section for 1/2 off.

They're the Tritton Universal Gaming Headset and normally retail for $60-$70 but I got them for $30. At that price I couldn't be happier since they're compatible with the PC/360/PS3. I've needed a PC headset/mic for a while now and never picked one up for the PS3 and this is a big upgrade over the shitty MS pack in headset for the 360. They aren't 5.1 so they're not OMFG amazing or anything like that but damn good for the price, although at $60 I may have been a little disappointed. They are very comfortable, probably the most comfortable headset I've ever used. These will do nicely until I can afford (or find a really good deal on) the Astro A40's.

Also grabbed Civ 4 Colonization off Steam earlier.

Tell me about it. Though I did manage to avoid getting Silent Hill, since... well, that game was pretty awful.

On the last day of 2009, Steam gave to me...

Darwinia, Multiwinia, Crysis, and Crysis Warhead, and Crysis Wars for $16.58.

I need to sell off an ass load of retail copies if anyone is interest. They are all in perfect shape, and I'm all about bulk discounts.
