This thread sucks.
It seems like the PS2 is getting close to being on it's last legs in the eyes of retailers. Other than a handful of games, many used titles can be gotten for less than $15. I recently picked up Silent hill 2 for under 15 and SH 4 for under $10. Persona 3 can be gotten for about the same and old niche stuff like GunGrave OD can be gotten for less than $5.
A lot of people bitch about games not being worth $50 but now that many (if not most) PS2 games can be gotten for under $15, what is worth giving a try?
Off the top of my head, some of my favs for under 10 would be
FF12
GunGrave
GunGrave OD
Chaos Wars
Persona 3
Metal Saga
Battleship Gunner 2
Ring Of Red
Xenosaga (lol, cut scenes)
Tokobots
Drakengard
Warning: All of those games are kind of f-chan.
Anyway, I thought this was worth talking about since we are reaching the end of the console's life cycle. A lot of those games are flawed, but for 5 bucks, they are worth a shot. And in a year or two, you won't find them outside of ebay.
This thread sucks.
Boo, Hiss.
Xenosaga is awful diapers filled with creamed spinach.
Dragon Quarter should be added to that list in its place.

I am fond of the ratchet and clank, sly cooper, and jak and daxter games (in that order).
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

Gamestop has bins of 10 and 5 dollar ps2 games and if you are lucky and the store has a good selection you can walk out with gold. I've walked out with too much good stuff to name, but Castle Shikigami 2 was a huge surprise that I paid $4 for.
I think they think of me as the weird ps2 guy now, which is funny since I always bought Xbox/Gamecube games when the system was current.
One of the best hauls I ever made was Psi-Ops, Space Channel 5 Pt 2, and The Red Star from Circuit City before it closed. All new, for $20.
Fantavision for $3 was also a steal. I also once got Virtua Fighter 4 Evo for $2 at Best Buy.
Isn't Gamestop ceasing PS2 sales very soon?
