  1. Good game! Last time I played I got killed by the Wily dragon mk. 2. I will try again!

#11 - Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

Wonderful, amazing, gorgeous game. Finally got all the skill points so I can move on.

  3. 1. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth
Fans of the series have probably already picked this up and there's nothing here for someone who isn't already into the AA games. Better than Apollo, not quite as good as the PW games. The sprites are nice but they're wasted potential. You actually have fewer movement and investigation options than you did before. Complaints aside, it was a lot of fun overall! I wonder how long it'll be until the next one gets announced this time.

  4. i'm like in the second or third part of Case 3.

There's no courtroom in this game, is there. :[

  5. Next case.

  6. Mega Man 1- Let's see if i can beat them all or if 7 and 8 just kill me.
So MM1, not nearly as tough as i remember it, but maybe it's because i know how Mega Man works now. The only really tough parts are Yellow Devil and Wily, used the Elec Beam trick on both.
I remember this one being better too. It feels empty and short, but such great music!
    Donk

When I beat them on the PS2 collection I couldn't use the Elec Man trick, I had to learn the fights for the first time ever ever. They weren't that bad.

Play Mega Man 2 on hard or gtfo

  8. It's the only way to play!

  9. 13. MegaMan: Maverick Hunter X

It's really rare I'll be a fan of something where I'll hate the update no matter what, but that's honestly how I felt about this game when I first saw screens a few years ago. That idea stuck for a while and I wasn't really interested in trying it, but it was so cheap in-store I decided to give it a try with a buddy also getting it.

And it wasn't bad. Changing the location of some of the power-ups and tanks was a pretty smart move and it had some nice production value to it. Overall not bad. I played it three times (twice with X, once with Vile)

    14-15. Power Stone 1&2

Awful awful loading times for two nice classic Dreamcast games. Beaten with every character for both titles, but man, what's up with the loading? Real weak sauce.

    16. God of War II

Platinum. Waaaaaay better than the first one. I don't know what's up with people thinking otherwise. It's just the same underpinnings of the first one, but with more cash moments and weapons. Anyways, pretty simple bout here, loved it like I did on PS2.

    17. Dante's Inferno

Platinum. I loved it. So what if it's borrowing ideas from other games. If it's fun, I don't see the goal in narking it for being a few notches shy of being a credible, original title. I did find some of the level design boring, but it was a pretty sweet, short brawl.

And man, Lucifer's cock is HUGE, like xbox. What the mess! I was baffled.

    18. Rocket Knight Adventures

I'm one of those people who, at least in comparaison to other friends who play games, talk about this series a lot, but never actually sat down and finished them. This makes me a hypocrite, so I played RKA (or Sparkster on SNES) for an entire morning and partial afternoon. And it's great! I know Sega geeks tend to hate it since it was also on Super Nintendo, but maybe it's because it looks way nicer! But I have it on Genesis (The sequel, naming issues!), so I should probably not go any further.

    19. Super Stardust HD

Someone I know poked me the other day telling me I should play this vertical shmup called SSHD. Ahhh, I don't...think this qualifies...as a vertical shooter, but thanks! I think this was one of the early PSN titles that got a lot of love since it was one of the few available, but that's fine. Great particle effects, some sharp production value and some simple rock-paper-scissors mechanics with the weapons (even though...gold melter seems like the obvious choice for most of the game).

There's some double or triple pack of add-on modes, but they cost more than the game itself! No thanks...

    20. Rhythm Tengoku (GBA)

-Almost- Gold Medal'd every single mission in the game (can I call them missions?). Really fricking great game. One of the last GBA games produced by Nintendo (maybe?) and I think I saw Iwata in the credits. The Matsuri sing-a-long challenges (Panpan! Clap your hands) were easily my favorites. Vocals on a GBA game. Crazy!

Anyways, I'd buy this for DS next but I hear there are cuts/differences between the JP and DS ones. I think I'll just ask Tain what's up with that (since he knows a lot).

    21. Metal Slug XX

Bought it. Beat it. Yeah, I know, it's like the same thing over and over again, but it's already at a budget price (Thanks Atlus!) so why not. Quality-wise, I'd say it's right up there with Metal Slug 3, which says a lot. The ending's pretty funny. Fio's breasts get larger every game (...).

    22. BioShock

I...was really late to play this! I tried it for 360 a while ago, then gave it away as a gift to someone who wanted it and then picked it up for PS3. So great! I'm surprised I really liked it, despite all of the hype and fandom people kept shoving down my throat. I think I'll just play it again.

I didn't find every Little Sister, but I rescued all those I found and got the good ending. Big fan of playing the Good/Light playthroughs first before killing off everyone (it's my moral obligation).

Actually, I'm not sure! I know the Japanese vocal songs are localized, of course, but I've barely seen the US version of Gold.

8 is coming along pretty well, too.
