Completion Thread: 2010 Edition

Bioshock 2 (pc) - Good game. It seems a lot more linear than the first and there is no backtracking if you missed something from a previous level. I could have sworn you can go pretty much anywhere anytime in the original if you missed something but I could be wrong.

You could. Devs scrapped it for Shock 2 because they said it was too hard for them and not enough people took advantage of it.

System Shock 2 was badass, but it's not as close to Deus Ex as some people think.

I think it's about a dead heat between SS2 and Bioshock though

AvP (360) Marine campaign on Normal. I don't know why this game is getting so ragged on - sure, it's not CoDMW2, but it's decent and certainly worthy of a rental/purchase for fans of either Alien(s) or Predator.

Saved Shaun, 4 heroes lived, completed all trials but the murder, kept Jaden off of smack.

I think the main thing keeping me from renting it is that I am not a fan of Aliens VS Predator. Two bad movies and ten+ years of shitty comics has that effect, weird...

#12 - Ratchet and Clank

I liked the PS3 one so much I went back to the original I'd shelved long ago. Let's just say Insomniac has come a long, long way towards perfecting the series. All gold weapons bought and all skill points acquired, everything unlocked. Now on to Going Commando (now with strafing and evolving weapons!).

Out of state friend came to visit with his J360! Talk about an easy clear, it only took me four or five tries to 1cc arcade mode. Very fun game, though, and I'd like to mess around with lvl 3 play and Extra stage. Definitely looking forward to the US release.

Wish the visual options of the port matched Futari's, but I'm betting that's never gonna happen again.

So you played Sparkster or RKA? I ask, because the former was on both the Genesis and SNES, but the latter was a Genesis exclusive.

13. Plants Vs. Zombies PC - So after loving the iphone version I immediately went and got the PC version. Wiped out all of the minigames/survival and everything else, twice through adventure mode and made it to flag 83 on endless survival.
