and yet FFXIII still about 100x as interactive and challenging, and you can use buttons to skip the cutscenes rather than being forced to use buttons to slowly wade through them!

i never thought i'd be defending ffxiii much, but hey, heavy rain.

22. Time Gentleman, Please - I'm officially in love with Ben and Dan. Telltale games are fun, but these games put them to shame with brilliant writing and puzzles. Anyone who hasn't played both of these games needs to immediately.

Lord, stop shilling for those terrible games. I couldn't make it through an hour of Ben There. An eyesore, even as a "retro"-style game, and about as "hilarious" as Monty Python.

I paid like $2.50 for the pair and was ripped off.

Pretty good game, given the genre. Too easy on the hard difficulty, though! Even GTAIV levels of difficulty would have been nice.

That's normal. Finishing around 20% is expected, even if you complete many Faction Missions and all 9 Strongholds. It's the Faction Items (Ular Skulls, Razor Drug Drops and Reaper Black Boxes) that add a bunch to your percentage (like, 0.4%, or so I think).

There's not a lot out there yet. Unlike Bayonetta, Heavy Rain didn't go to shit near the end. Like I said before, I don't expect it to beat out all the stuff that is coming, but through March, I think it's in the lead.

If you want gameplay, you're not playing either one. However, if you want story, Heavy Rain is very likely better -- a point you didn't even dispute.
