  1. 13. Momotte Knight - 360 Indie.
    Beat this with a friend the other day. Rerelease on live with online multi and more stages pls.

    It took me a while, but I finally beat it. A solid action game with an incredible story and awesome dialogue, but the actual GAME is basically more of the same. U2 just managed to mesh it all together better than most action games do.

    The final boss battle was ass, too.

    I can see this getting a lot of hype and all, but GOTY? Nope.

  3. 14) Half-Life 2 (360)
    Revisited for 2010. This time I got the Zombie Chopper achievement in Ravenholm - using only the gravity gun to kill zombies with thrown objects.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  4. 24. Sam and Max 302 - Not as good as the first episode of the season, but still good stuff. Never once did I get stumped, everything was pretty easy to figure out when you thought about it.

  5. #9 Cave Story, Wii version. Can't believe it took me this long to get to it, but it was well worth playing. I didn't use the guide so just got the normal ending, but may re-play it someday to mine it for goodies. That last four-boss rush was a pain, though. Oddly enough, the hardest bit was the first part, fighting Misery.

    It's what I expect from blockbuster game: big budget production values and great action but with the downside of unambitious design and handholding, i.e. the radar constantly showing exactly where to go in this case. Anyone expecting traditional survival horror will disappointed. This is very much an action game like the last two Resident Evils except more linear. You don't need to conserve ammo that much and there aren't really any puzzles. I was expecting a better story but overall I quite enjoyed the game. It's one of the best 360 exclusives. And speaking of 360 exclusives, I got the RROD shortly after beating this. I really wanted to get back to and finish Nier, too.

    Beat on hard, got a few of the more interesting achievements (No guns on the way to Cauldron Lake, etc). 600/1000.
    Can't wait for the DLC.

  8. Red Steel 2- Hammered away most of this in one day, my arm is going to kill tomorrow. Repetitive at times but still fun, some great one on one showdowns. Kinda wish they would have just stuck with the six shooter and upgrades, didn't care much for the other guns.

    Do I need to play the first one to appreciate the second? I recently got this as a gift but I've only played about 15 minutes of the first one at my friends house. Seems like a story driven game, but Idunno how connected they are.
