There are other beers I'd drink instead, but its certainly not a bad beer.
Am I the only one that finds St. Bernardus 12 very overrated? I mean I wouldn't complain if someone handed me one, but I don't think it's really a substitute for the high end Belgians, or even a Chimay.

Drinking a North Coast Pranqster. I love this stuff.
Yeah, maybe, but it's a pretty steep fall off from Rochefort 10, and there are a LOT of Quadrupel-ish Belgian Strong Ales I'd prefer to it as well.
Speaking of which, Pannepot is so god damn good.
I just downed 2/3 of a 22 oz Green Flash Barleywine.
Already kinda tipsy. $5.50 for 22 ounces of 11% aint too shabby. Not the best barleywine but still quite tasty.
Is $30/$52 good prices for a case of 60 min and 90 min each, respectively.
PS: So Rich, Expendables on Thursday?
Average prices. I'll let you know on Expendables-- I'm supposed to go out for dinner earlyish. Is the movie at midnight?
Picked up a World Wide Stout, bottled 11/14/08
Going to have to wait until tomorrow though, 18% beer before an interview = nothx.
I went there to find a Rochefort or Westvleteren, but the only Trappist they had was the Achel. Has anyone had the Achel? $6 is a lot to spend on a beer I knew nothing about.
