Boo, Hiss.
Give me three days, and we may discuss it.
Now worries. I'll pick up a bunch next time we're at the store.
Worst thing I end up with a few extras.
Boo, Hiss.
New Belgian stuff is not as easy to find up here as one would hope.
Lips of faith series is great but the rest of their portfolio is mediocre at best. All the overpurchased bombers of Ranger IPA (YUCK), Tripel and Fat Tire have been dropping heavily in price at liquor stores and bars because nobody wants them.
I had the Fat Tire and was wildly underwhelmed.
Yeah, don't get the big deal about that one (Fat Tire). All of their stuff isn't available to me here in NY - I had that one in Florida of all places. Just got in TommyKnocker out of Colorado - their Imperial Nut Brown is good.
Yeah, its their boring flagship beer. Check out their winter seasonal, 2 Below, which should be coming out soon. Very good.
Had the Southern Tier Pumpking ale. Very tasty, but like the Creme Brulee Stout, I regretted only splitting with my wife. Just too too much. Also had the Creme Brulee on tap, which was even richer than I remember from the bottle, but enjoyable because it was served in a 4oz glass.

Hanssens Artisanaal - Oude Kriek
First real-deal still lambic. I can't handle the truth. Aromas of barnyard, Strong brett, cherries, funk. Jesus man. This isn't vinegar, but it's well on its way.
It has an A- on Beer Advocate. I can't hang.
Boo, Hiss.
