My wife is using it as a mixer for a ginger ale cocktail.
Pretty good.
edit: I actually have something called Lambrucha (blend of lambic and kombucha) to try soon that's apparently super hard to get.

Boo, Hiss.
Heavy Seas "Great Pumpkin" 22 oz. was a pretty good pumpkin beer. Pumpkin beers are selling like crazy @ my store. Madness.
Greater pumpkin is my favorite of the season. Also victory's festbier gets an A+ for märzen style. Perfectly balanced without the malt tang on the end it tastes like a true german oktoberfest.
I want the greater pumpkin.
P.S. I talked with Sam from Dogfish at Max's yesterday. Told him I couldn't find the 2011 120min anywhere. He made some calls, found a store a little north of the city that had 2 bottles, and told the store to hold them for me.
Fucking epic customer service, imo.
Yeah, I stand by him coming off douchey in that documentary, but I was wrong to paint him that way overall. That's clearly not who he is.

It's LA Beer Week, which is actually two weeks! Did my first event on Wednesday night, an 8 course Firestone Walker dinner/ XVth Anniversary beer release party. Each course was paired with one of the component beers that makes up XV. Then XV was served at the end. It is fucking good, but the star was Sticky Monkey. It is sweet dark boozy nectar! I told the brewmaster they have to sell to release it alone and he said everyone was telling him that. I hope they do. It's the best Firestone beer I've tasted. Also mentioned to him that I was getting married at the Firestone winery next summer and I was hoping to get some good beer. He gave me his card and said to give him a call and he'd see what he could do. He won best mid-size brewer of the year at GABF this year. At the after party I had bacon wrapped Heath bars, which was even better than it sounds.
Seems that some of y'all have access to Sam Calagione. If you run into him, tell him you want to buy a Randall The Enamel Animal for your bar but can't find one anywhere. It's $375 and they only make them once a year. It's a fancy infuser you can run inline on a tap. I NEED this thing. I will pay any of you $50 on top of the cost if you can find it.
