Fancy beers are for fancy men. None of you qualify.

East Brunswick, on Rt 18 South. Not your neck of the woods I don't think. Where in NJ are you anyway? There's a place in South Plainfield (Oak Tree Wines) that is like beertopia, but it's also overpriced, particularly for stuff on the lower-medium end.

Last night was a fancy beer binge with my roommate. She bought Westmalle Tripels, some St. Bernardus Quad, and some Victory Storm Kings. I bought some Dogfish Head 90 min and cleaned out their Rochefort. We didn't drink all of that, obviously, but we both had at least one of each of those and killed more than half of it total (which adds up to a lot since they're all over 9%).
The Rochefort 8 was really delicious, better than last time I had it maybe because the bottles were already aged two years. I don't generally age my beer so that was good to try. It really blows away the other Belgian Strong Ales I've had, though I still have to give Struise Pannepot a shot some time (I know where to get it at a fair price I just have to get around to it).
Good beer is worth driving for.
So is your mother.
I didn't know you knew how to drive.
Also LOL at her making you drive! Shit, I think she even went all the way to South Carolina for Advocate, but then he chickened out.
