A little, but certainly not overpoweringly so. Hard to overpower with sweetness @ 8.3% ABV imo.
I could definitely see it being a desert beer, though.
Is it sweet? Cinnamon sounds awesome. Vanilla and Cinnamon sounds like desert.

So I bought this for $12 yesterday. It is a Bell's Brewery Best Brown Ale mini keg. 5L with a built in tap. I need to make room in my fridge before I dig in though. Probably will buy another keg this week as a birthday present for a friend.

I've seen that! Impressions?
Had some quality beers for my birthday. In addition to more Rochefort, I had:

Struise Pannepot (2007)
This is a Belgian Strong Ale like a Chimay Blue or a Rochefort 8, but it's very, very different from those. It's the most aromatic beer I've ever had, with a pungent, sweet smell and a foamy head that seems to never go away. Unlike Trappist Strong Ales, this is comparatively fruity with a very sweet, complex taste, heavy on the spices. 10% ABV, but you'd never notice for how smooth and drinkable it is. This won't replace the Trappist beers for me, but it has a personality of its own.
Ten Fidy
I think this has been discussed here before, but I'm not sure. It's really an archetypical Imperial Stout. Pours thick, black like motor oil, with a dark brown, slightly underwhelming head. Taste is sweet and sticky, and a bit boozy. Doesn't seem that adventurous, but it's certainly tasty if you're into Imperial Stouts.
Broke into a bottle of Southern Tier Imperial Choklat Stout last night because the bottle (22 oz of 11%ABV) was a little too intimidating on a night when I had already had a few.
Shared it with a couple of girls (a 19 year old who doesn't really know shit from beer, and the other who is my regular drinking buddy and usually appreciates good beer), both of whom hated it and said it was too sweet.
It is indeed incredibly rich, but I liked it a lot. Like Young's Double Chocolate Stout, it's clearly brewed with real chocolate rather than just chocolate malts, but unlike Young's this tastes of bitter dark chocolate, and it has a real bite to it. It is a weird in-between of candy and a real beer-drinker's beer that will probably offend some people on both sides of the aisle. Will purchase again in the future.
