I would just get microsofts antivirus.
It's free and doesn't use a lot of system resources.
My free AVG trial is up, and some people have talked me into getting Norton 360. SO I went to Symantec's online store and tried to buy it with a credit card. First time after I submitted the order the invoice showed that I checked the "pay by bank wire" button. I was pretty sure I didn't. So I went through it all over again, this time it said I clicked the "pay by check" button. I know I didn't.
Is it possible that I have some infection that won't let me buy antivirus software, or is their website wonky, or did I go to some hack site that now has my credit card info?
I went to symantecstore.com if that means anything.

Is that good enough to catch everything? Or should I keep Super Anti Spyware, Spybot, etc.?
get microsoft essentials (the antivirus thing), it's good believe it or not
you can keep windows defender or malwarebytes or whatever around if you're paranoid but you probably won't need it
edit: also whoever talked you into getting norton/symantec is dumb, it's far and away the worst antivirus out there, plus here's the domain information for symantecstore.com

I'll take your word for it.
Thanks!
Now, if only I knew how to keep one program on top when I'm running other programs...
We have a thread for that.
If only there was thread available to pick up the slack. A thread sort of like this one...
