Last night I was browsing tnl at work as usual. I forgot my laptop so I was using the only computer we have in the back office. This computer also contains the Micros database that runs the restaurant. As I was loling at the "twinkie house" pic, I noticed shidoshi posted a link to more hilarity. So I decided to "habeeb it" and click the link. This gave our database one nasty case of AIDS. Needless to say it has been an all night and morning ordeal to get the computer clean and back up and running before we opened for business at 11am. Back to business as usual.... I'm going to go take a piss in the marinara.

Encyclopedia Dramatica did something nasty to your machine? Wow, that's really odd. I mean, it's a huge joke site, but I've never known it to be dangerous at all in that kind of way*. I hit the site on a regular basis and have never known a reason why doing so would need any level of caution. I wonder if one of the banner ads they're running has something bad going on with it that they don't know about.

Either way, I'd never intentionally link to a site that I knew would do something like that, so sorry to hear that that happened.

* however, I do run a Mac, so I guess I wouldn't even know if it was.

I'm not mad it was my fault. And it was funny. It turns out these retards had ZERO virus protection on the fucking server.

I got a nasty impossible to close pop up when I clicked the same link.

It didn't do anything to my PC but I wouldn't be surprised if it destroyed some old ass PC with no anti-virus running IE6 or some shit.

Same here. But the hardcore father/son incest porno comic contained in that link sure did some damage to my brain. I feel like I need Robocop to take me to a rape crisis center.

I love Encyclopedia Dramatica. It's the most offensive (and funny) site on the net.
