One time at Golden Corral I stuck a steak under the chocolate fountain, just as a gag to gross out my sister. It was actually pretty good.
I really like the idea of buffets because you can choose all sorts of things, AND you can choose multiple small desserts. That's the best. Whenever you get a normal dessert somewhere, it's like this bucketload of whatever. But at a buffet? A tiny square! the best.
However, usually the quality is kind of bad unless you're at a really nice casino. The best buffet I ever went to, J.J. North's, closed more than a decade ago.
Getting back to the actual topic of the thread, John Heard (the father in Home Alone) dead at 72.
I remember him most from BIG, with Tom Hanks.
Haruo Nakajima, the original Godzilla suit actor (also dozens of other kaiju movies). He was a legend with that odd acting niche and widely considered one of the best.
I met him a couple years back and had him sign my Gojira DVD. He seemed ancient even then so I'm not terribly surprised to see him pass, but still RIP.
Glen Campbell.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.
