Haruo Nakajima, the original Godzilla suit actor (also dozens of other kaiju movies). He was a legend with that odd acting niche and widely considered one of the best.

I met him a couple years back and had him sign my Gojira DVD. He seemed ancient even then so I'm not terribly surprised to see him pass, but still RIP.

At NYCC, yes? My gf is so bummed she didn't get her Funko Godzilla Pop signed by him that year.
