Thread: Besting regional lockout.

  1. Besting regional lockout.

My wife and I picked up some Fireman Sam DVDs (British kids show) today and turns out since we didn't pay close ass attention they're PAL region or some shit. Is there a convenient way I can bypass the regional lock out?

  2. most dvd players have region lock overriding in them, google for "[dvd player model] region lockout disable code" or something to that extent

failing that, I suppose you could always rip the dvd image on your pc and encode them to something that your dvd player can read

Ok good, does this also apply for the PS2? I tried a few googles before coming here and got tons of information explaining regional lock out but very little to help me beat it. I'll try that later and hope it works.

  4. not sure on ps2, I know for a fact that the shitty little $20 dvd players have codes to disable region locks so its not much of a stretch to figure the more expensive ones do too
