You should probably read that article. Iowa's law is nothing like the one in Utah, and that case was dropped and if it had gone to court would have been thrown out.

If guys could get pregnant too, you sure as hell wouldn't see nearly as many wacky laws regarding this shit. It's kind of fucked up that the majority of laws governing women and what they can/can't do with their bodies are made by crusty old white men.

Here's the fun part. Because we're not about to restrict pregnant women from traveling this law only effects poor women. Anyone able to afford a plane ticket and a weekend stay pretty much anywhere else can leave Utah.

Being poor is the greatest crime you can commit in the United States.
