For those who did not listen to the entire podcast: Nick Rox "came out" as a furry. He talked about his furry lifestyle for the last 30 minutes. It seemed genuine.
I enjoyed the podcast. The "what we've been playing" section was pretty epic -- what was it, 2 hours long? Of course we at MPOS have little cause to complain. One thing I found odd is that Nick Rox seems to parse every single statement, almost like he's a politician at a deposition. I don't know if it's a result of editing or if Nick really talks that way. But it'd be better if you guys could just ease up on the formality a bit, Nick in particular.
I also really enjoyed Shidoshi's discussion of transgender issues in gaming. I learned a lot listening to it, not just about trans issues in gaming but about trans issues in general. Like Shidoshi says, it's important for people to recognize that these issues exist and not just declaim that they don't apply to them.
