The scaling in this game is so far beyond fucked.

I stopped in CTF for a minute after failing to get marvel early, and everyone, I mean EVERYONE, says the game is garbage. You get 80% combos with anyone by mashing your dick on the buttons, balance is about as bad as MvC2, and the whole game is the XFC. If everyone liked the game, I wouldn't have minded the xfc shit maybe, but because people hate the game AND there is this out of blockstun stupidity, jesus. The marvel heads don't get just how bad this could make the game. What the fuck is the point of attacking if any move they block turns into a 100% combo on you for free? YAWN, whatever, maybe it'll get a week out of me.

One New York store has it already, others get it thursday or friday. This should help any of you who also know street date breaking places.

The game looks too good not to buy. I don't get the rational behind many of the XFC features, but the hope is that they'll patch it down from utterly broken (if it is as it seems) to just "reasonably" broken.

So I know I want to be owning/playing this at some time. I also know that I'm kinda busted broke. I also also know that I'm a scrapper, a go getter, and not too shabby at the arting.

(this is the extent of the plugging though!)

On the game, I think the XFC is gonna mess up so much high level play, but with me and my friends, it never gets more serious than a bruised ego or two and screwing around on combos. So I'm still excited! May even inspire me to get back into playing fighters en masse.

XFC let's you cancel out of guardstun. That is very, very, very stupid. VERY stupid, all my hype for this game beyond like 1 week just washed away.

Did I see that Thor video correctly in that he XFCed out of guard into a combo where there was ZERO damage reduction or will Thor just do that damn much damage that scaling won't matter? I thought XFC just reset damage scaling back to 0 and started all over again? Can you XFC at any time on the ground or in the air?

Balance doesn't matter as long as an FG is fun. Dunno why peeps are so hung up on balance. Anyways, odds are no one expected 3 to be balanced but it looks like it's actually LESS balanced than 2 or balanced the wrong way by giving the entire cast AHVBx3.
