Not sure how many (if any) are familiar with the research John Kanzius was conducting before he died, but basically he was trying to find a way to fight cancer without using the very destructive methods we currently use. He was from my town. His idea was/is to infuse nanopaerticles into just the cancer cells and transmit an RF signal that would only harm those cells and not the entire body like chemotheraphy does. Currently his foundation is sitting in first place for the Pepsi Refresh Challenge (the winnder getting $250k). Both my mom and aunt recently had bouts with cancer as well as a lot of other people I know. Prostate cancer runs in my family as well. If anybody here has had or has known somebody fighting the disease it's pretty easy to realize we need an alternative to fighting it.
