You're not going to read a book on advanced calculus either, because you wouldn't understand any of it, and it's nerdy as shit. It doesn't mean it's self-indulgent or intangible, though.

I'm not really saying everyone here needs to go read Hilary Putnam or Ludwig Wittgenstein, I doubt it'd mean anything to most people, even. But Philosophy isn't just a bunch of people spouting off about what they think God smells like, either. Those people are called "stoners."
