Thread: The Walking Dead

  1. That scene still pulls me out of the movie.

  2. That scene really didn't bother me. It would have been better if they showed that he was asleep behind the wheel, but people are really just crying over spilled milk here. Of course I probably took that scene with a grain of salt because I had already read the crying and moaning as TNL was trying to get the sand out of their vaginas.

  3. It's a legit complaint. A seasoned director wouldn't have made it so obviously ridiculous.

Remember when the zombies were breaking into the department store way back in season one? I'm pretty sure one of them picked up a rock to use on the window. Do these zombies have marginal problem-solving skills or was that just a retarded thing that will never happen again?

I ask because I don't watch this anymore.

I think you are mistaken. I re-watched season 1 and didn't see that. And I can't understand Razor's cries of pain taking sand out of his vag.

  6. I can't wait until you fall off a mountain.

  7. I'm pretty sure that happened and was the whole reason the situation escalated from "hey there's zombies outside" to "oh god the zombies are actually getting in".

  8. I remember the rock scene.

The deal is that these zombies have some instinctual habits, like how in the first episode that chick went up to her door, touched the handle and just couldn't figure the rest out. I think that's also the explanation for why three zombies were sitting in the church in the most recent episode: it's not that they know to sit there or remember why they do, but instinctively being in the building makes them sit and stare at the front like they used to before they were zombies. I actually like that take on zombies, it turns them kind of into extreme Alzheimer patients and at the very least the show has been consistent with it.

    From the Walking Dead wiki:

The biters from the comic and show (more so in the latter) display limited problem solving intellect and understanding of their surroundings, as one outside the mall took a rock to the glass door, knowing it would be effective. Whether or not this concept of smart(er) zombies will be dropped altogether, or explored further as the series enters its second season is unknown.
Maybe you didn't watch it as efficiently as most people do. I would recommend either using your eyes or first removing your head from your asshole for an optimal viewing experience.

That's cool. So the dude was a professional window-breaker in his old life? I don't remember if he was a minority.
