Froyo made it to the Evo today, and it is awesome! There isn't much that is new for features, the best stuff is under the hood. It runs much better than 2.1, and the brower is kickass now that it is fast and handles flash with ease. Youporn ran with flash light in 2.1, but now it runs super smooth. Fap fap fap

Nice, the OG Droid is supposed to be getting froyo this week and I can't wait. Doesn't the Evo have Sense UI on it? If so, I'm amazed they got froyo up and running on it so quickly. It was the only downside I could see with a Sense UI phone.

I agree, I did not think froyo was coming till late fall but sprint and htc have been awesome so far supporting this phone. I love sense too so I'm glad htc was on it.

Btw, swype keyboard works with black magic. This is the future of text entry.

I'm really digging Android. I couldn't really afford an iPhone, but I think Android is more my speed now anyway.

Multicon is a genius app. It's a widget that goes into 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, or 1x4, and divides that area into smaller icon segments. i.e. the most useful spatially is converting a 1x1 into 4 1/4 size icons in 2x2. It works really well for cramming everything into the main homescreen and the different size icons mixing together can look really cool. Picture is worth a thousand words.
