I learned that Dolphin Browser HD 8.5.1 is the last update of the browser to have Flash support for Jelly Bean. So if you want to stick with Dolphin for Jelly Bean, side load that version.

Just got 4.1.1 up and running on my galaxy s1, guess this thing had alot more potential than anyone realized.

Probably the best phone ever made. Came out two years ago and it'll still run anything that's out there thanks to the amazingly overpowered-for-it's-time hummingbird processor. Not to mention it's screen is still amazing looking (lol at Vita). I just got the s3 and gave my brother my s1 but it'll always have a place in my heart.

Jetaudio was released for android about a month ago. It originally had BBE sonic maximizer integrated but was quickly removed and patched. After about eight hours searching for a complete apk, I have a working version, if anyone wants it, just let me know. For some reason, there are a lot of phonies out there so don't waste your time looking for it yourself. If you want your phone to sound better than any player made, you need this. My phone now sounds nearly as good as my D3 Pleneaueaewtf, and that thing cost me 360 bucks.

I just got a Galaxy SIII today. Shit is nuts.

It come with 4.04 and I don't know what version of Android that is or if I'm supposed to care enough to upgrade. Talk to me TNL. How do I even do that?

4.04 is the latest version of Ice Cream Sandwich. Which is good, but it's one major version behind now (Jelly Bean being the new hotness).

But I understand there's a fairly complete Cyanogenmod 10 (4.1.1 Jelly Bean) on the S3, and while it's considered an alpha, everything works. Maybe still buggy though. The main selling points of this are:

1) Smoother. Everything scrolls and moves very fluidly in JB.
2) Voice assistant, similar to Apple's Siri
3) Google Now (optional), which compiles creepy amounts of data about you and then uses it to find information you didn't even ask for specifically based on your needs.
4) It's stock Android, not Samsung TouchWiz, which means the UI looks a whole lot nicer, and maybe runs better (the latter point is probably overstated by many though)

Personally, I'd wait a month or so for CM10 to mature before jumping on it. It'll be there soon enough, but jumping on too early doesn't seem worth it, especially because stock S3 is still pretty good.

Or maybe just get CM9 (4.0.4), if you like the stock Android thing (I do).

According to the internets later this year JB is going to be the auto upgrade for this phone anyway, fuck it I'll just wait.

Well, it's going to be a long fucking wait. That's how Samsung rolls. It took about 8 months for the official ICS to hit my phone.

Plus, TouchWiz is kind of hideous. Apex Launcher helps mitigate it a bit, but it's really every interface element that TW touches.

I use GoLauncher, my shit is so fucking clean you wouldn't believe.

The very first thing I did was download it and set up the theme the way I like it.
