I picked up Blazblue: Continuum Shift II for 3DS, because I'm a big Guilty Gear fan, never played Blazblue on console, and ASW has a pretty good reputation for handheld ports dating back to Guilty Gear Advance on the GBA.
It really is Guilty Gear in all but name. And it's great! I'm still relearning the basics. There's a very nice tutorial mode narrated by the arrogant vampire girl character, whatever her name is, that teaches you about the complicated fighting system and how to do Roman...I mean, Rapid Cancels and all that stuff. The 3DS button set up is ideal for the GG/Blazblue four-button style. The default layout has A+B+C assigned to the right trigger, so it's pretty easy to pull off Rapid Cancels without having to hold the controller awkwardly.
Definitely worth a purchase if you're tired of SSFIV and prefer the chaos and nuttiness of ASW games.
