I don't have time to play a MH game on a home console, which is why I never got the Wii game. I was hoping for a new online version on the Vita preferably, or the 3DS with circle pad pro support.

If I recall the PSP ones weren't online either and people used tunneling. I'm on my phone so I I'm too lazy to double check, but if it has any kind of multiplayer support that might still be a possibility.
Then again, if the Wii U version could be played entirely on the tablet, that might be something...
PS3 Adhoc Party works great, Nintendo should put out a similar program.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

The problem with handheld MH in the US is the same one as DQIX in the US.
I'm not sure the Vita MH will have online MP, honestly.
Super High level of excitement for SMTIV. Atlus still hasn't announced Soul Hackers and Etrian Odyssey IV for America yet though![]()
Are we even sure the Vita will get MH? It probably should, but Nintendo and Capcom seem to have a pretty good relationship going when it comes to MH. Maybe we'll get some news otherwise at the upcoming TGS.
And if Capcom doesn't do it, another company will with their MH-like game for the Vita. Ragnarok Odyssey already features online four-player co-op, and Sony's own Soul Sacrifice reportedly will. If you're willing to add it in, and it actually comes to fruition, PSO2 for the Vita should obviously offer online MP.
