If you get a new SD card but keep the same system, you just copy the files over on a PC and you're done.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Nintendo just doubled our profits. Instead of the usual $5 on the system (hardware has ridiculously small markups), we will also make (probably) $5 on the charger too (if not more as accessories tend to have decent markups).

WTF...no AC Adapter? What is that shit? I really want that MM 3DS XL though. I have the first run OG Nintendo 3DS and Gamestop is offering 75 bucks in credit towards the New 3DS XL. That looks like the best deal for me but I don't know how to transfer all my stuff. I wonder if it can be done in store. I'll check them out later this week.

I can't see the $.25 they'll save themselves by not including it being worth the ill will they'll receive. No one is going to go, "well, I sure am glad I didn't get a charger with this!"

Is it possible that the hardcode prefer the regular so Nintendo is going with a strategy to get them to buy the XL because it's all there is and then potentially get the size they really want afterwards, versus being happy with the regular size one from the outset?

I'm not really sure who the NEW 3DS is for other than hardcore gamers. Is this rebrand really going to help with the general public, who probably doesn't want a dedicated gaming handheld anyway? Who is going to buy this that doesn't already have one

We go over this all the time, so I guess that isn't the majority, but it just feels weird to me. The system is what, 4 years old? But I guess the 360 sold for a lot longer...
