MechDeus - Nick is the Bruce Wayne to Yoshi's Jean-Paul Valley.
As long as you agree.
Batman will also get those bs IMAX showings everywhere too, but you're right with the 3D. The closest legit IMAX theater to me, at Universal Studios, is pretty much sold out for first few days, and some of the best seats also for the following weekend. If that keeps up, I'm sure that will give it a boost to make up for the lack of 3D showings.
You guys made great points with the repeat viewings and lack of a Ledger angle, but I'll stick with my gut and say it tops Avengers.
Don't want to get too off topic, but how many times did you guys watcb Avengers? I wanted to see it again, but saw it only once.
The villain is Bane? Romney plagued by Bain Capital? Rush Limbaugh knows the score!
I'll be seeing this in a few days with my girlfriend. I can't say I'm excited, but it should make for a fun evening.

Three times. Once with friends, once with kids, once because kids wanted to see it again.
Three times also. Once with the girlfriend, once with friends, once because the girlfriend wanted to see it again.

Gymkata: I mean look at da lil playah woblin his way into our hearts in the sig awwwwwww
Yeah, all my theaters have like 1-3 showings of different 3D movies. The AMC in Burbank is $16.50 for a movie that is 3D and $17.50 for the bullshit fake IMAX experience for Batman (I'm sure Avengers had showings in this too). The real IMAX is $18.50. With that said, the amount of showings of 3D will outnumber the IMAX, you're right, but real IMAX does have $2 on it.
So yeah, I'm bored and looked into this too much. lol
