    Torrence Brown Jr., one of the Aurora movie shooting survivors, is planning on suing the theater, confirmed his family's publicist on Wednesday. "We're going to make sure whoever is accountable is going to take responsibility for this tragedy," Cassandra Williams of Wet PR said. She said that Brown, who was friends with 18-year-old AJ Boik, one of the shooting victims, is handling the criticism his suit has sparked. "We know it goes with the territory, so he's fine," Williams said. She added that Brown, 18, is seeking therapy and is emotionally distraught after the shooting.

    Brown's attorney Don Karpel told TMZ he plans to sue the Century 16 theater, which is owned by Cinemark, for having an exit door that was not equipped with an alarm or guarded. (Holmes reportedly left the theater through the exit door, propped it open and returned with his weapons.) Karpel also said he may sue Warner Bros for releasing violent movies that may have inspired the shooter, as well as the suspect's doctors, if he had any, for hypothetically not monitoring James Holmes' mental condition properly.

  2. Well I'm actually on his side on that whole exit door unguarded/unwatched without an alarm. That is a possible problem that shouldn't happen. Now as for suing WB. That shit is just retarded

    Also I hope no mental state bullshit comes into this. You catch someone like this I don't care if they are even rehab able, just kill them and be done with it. Not that fucking difficult.

  5. I liked this, not as much as TDK but more than Begins. The bit with the stock market being hacked and people just accepting it was ludicrous to the point of me not even believing it happened in that movie. I would say that part was fan-fiction writing at best but that would be disgraceful to fanfics.

    I didn't really like how Talia was handled. I figured it was her pretty shortly in (later confirmed by the back scar and that she had sex with Wayne, and then a million other things after that) but I still second-guessed myself because she was so different from how I'm used to Talia acting. It was okay but I feel like she could've been more, and it seemed closer to her being the sidekick that decided she wanted a shot at being the villain for once. I think she works a lot better being with her dad, if they had removed Bane and done some Lazarus pits with Ra's I probably would've liked it more.

    I guess part of it is just kind of weak villains. The crazy and super-motivated Joker and Two Face just dwarfed the kind of goals that the League of Shadows was going for, and probably also what Chux said about too many separate comic book plotlines shoved into one movie. Bane was good, he just wasn't as good.

    I always thought of it as Batman and Bruce Wayne being two separate characters and that they never crossed paths (except when Bane beat Batman so bad that he became a very terrified Bruce Wayne). The one part in the movie where he landed his flying machine in the batcave and Alfred was there to greet him, I was really interested to see if he was going to talk to Alfred this way, but his mask was off.

    The more I think about it, the more I like this movie. Despite the more epic story, it didn't feel as epic as TDK though (as the Joker affected Gotham not through might but through fear and chaos). My initial impression of TDK (before I saw it 8 million times) is still higher than this movie, but I'm very happy with the end result.
