I was up until like 3am just listening to people air out their precious opinions on streams too, and joe is a class act all the way; plus him calling up brazzers for sponsorship and getting that hold music was some once in a lifetime hilarious shit

it will be ironically hilarious if popularity winds up being the catalyst that kills the scene again
See, I don't think it was wrong of Yan to address it online. I'm getting kids (under the age of 18) yelling at me on SRK about it. KOR did get boned but that guy wasn't going anywhere near that $25k anyway. He was just saved some time.

LI Joe is a hilarious dude. Now if only he could run a tournament smoothly...

Then the entire fighting game community, which we all know is filled with the most hilariously awful human beings on earth, responded.
There really are some shitheels in the scene.

I just listened to this whole thing and hoooooooooooooooooooooooly shit. That was pretty bad. It's probably the worst I've heard ever told to a woman the entire time I've been in the scene.

It starts off awkward but gets progressively more gross as it goes on. I'm kinda surprised she put up with it as long as she did.

  5. To be fair, pretty much every "competitive" gaming circuit is full of douches like Epic Beard Man.

Fighting games just happen to have the most exposure, I guess.

I had started just clicking through it and he was trying to buy her a skirt to put on or something? What was that shit?

  7. They also take turns guessing what bra size she wears, suggesting she wear Aris' beard for a skirt, and smelling her.

Starcraft is by and large the largest competitive video game community in the world. Maybe WoW gives it a run for its money but WoW isn't seen as a competitive game.

  9. I don't think he was saying the fighting game community is the largest, just that it generates more interest through media coverage and streamed events. Nobody wants to watch a bunch of assholes play WoW for three straight days.

This isn't true is what I'm saying. Starcraft gets a LOT more coverage. Have you not seen the sites dedicated to it? It also gets tons of attention. The only reason it seems fighters get more attention is because a lot of sites that report on it are fighting game sites. Also, we have no pro-SC players here. You have quite a tournament-caliber Street Fighter players here.
