Thread: Street Fighter x Tekken(2D) (aka: DLC: The Game)/Tekken x Street Fighter(3D)

  1. It is now, if you take it offline and visit a pal.

  2. "Online play is lagfree when it's not online". Thanks Razor.

  3. Information will always have to travel. Speed of light is pretty fucking fast but it still has to go somewhere and be met with a response. That will not change. So your hope of lag-free play won't happen. Once more people accept this the less they'll cry about lag.

  4. Oh, hey Josh, how have you been?

Unless the next version of GGPO uses quantum entanglement, I'm afraid you're right.
It's not really that big of an issue, though. Online play is essential for any modern multiplayer game, but offline will always be the standard for high level play.

  6. Tekken 6 plays really smoothly online ever since they patched it after like, the first month. 5 bars only though. There's just enough lag on 4 bars to make my Kuma tactics less effective.

  7. It's still not lag-free and that's what everyone wants and cries for, but it's impossible.

see also: the people that cry that the ps3 is 1 or 2 frames slower than 360 display wise

  9. Offline? That's really important in fighters. One or two frames may seem trivial but if you're trained to see or anticipate moves that is the difference whether you'll get a clean hit, trade, or lose.

  10. yes, offline
