So besides the obvious issues inherent with an unfinished game, this is done really well so far IMO. I really like the sense of momentum you can get while running and vaulting over stuff and it's getting easier to notice the little people from a distance. Lots of things are done very well with only a couple of gripes so far, but since it's not done I'm not going to complain about them until I see the final product.

Cool Pineapple, hope to see you on the full version then. Without any vehicles, this beta is just a tiny fraction of what the game offers. You can squad up with us and see how much better Battlefield is with a communicating squad and how the game is really meant to be played. Changeling, Cap, and Cowdisease are the folks from TNL who roll with my crew. Listing Cap is suspect though because hes known to abandon his teammates for months at a time - that and "snipe from islands".

So was the beta down for all of you guys this afternoon? I kept losing connection to EA.

Also, the latest hotness on the PC front is for players to fall through the map and get glitch kills through the floor COD:WaW-style. The xbox version is more playable for me so far.

This was happening in the 360 Beta as well this afternoon.

Fucking sucks. I know its a beta and all, but they never fixed the gun boat doing the same thing in Vietnam, either. Sloppy shit.

They did fix the nam gun boat actually. Going under the map only seems to happen in certain servers in BF3. I didnt see it at all last night but everywhere the day before. Its tied to the terrain deformation. Remember the c4 foxholes video from the alpha?

I saw the 'Nam boat glitch the last time I played. Its still out there.

Madness. Someone will always find a way I suppose. Now that I think about it 1943 has the under the map glitch too, heh.

This shit is unplayable right now. Can't get in the same squad with friends. Can't send invites while in-game. Invincible people shooting you from underneath the map.

Time to wait 'til the full game's out.
