That wasn't a big surprise. I imagine not-so-fond memories of MGS4 and the PSP platform choice made Peace Walker fare more poorly than it otherwise would have. I really hope Deathsmiles does well enough for Aksys to prompt them to bring over more Cave shmups.
This month we see the PC's biggest release of the year square off against Japan's biggest release of last year, with a ton of plus-alpha re-releases and digitally distributed titles on the sidelines. I'll probably vote for Hydro Thunder Hurricane because I love classic arcade-style racing. Traditional RTS just doesn't do it for me, and you should all know what I think of typical JRPGs by now.

Why So Serious?
SC2 is the only correct answer. Sequel to the best RTS, and quite possibly best PC, game of all time. May become the best PC game of all time once all is said and done.
Likely to play: Hydro Thunder, Blazblue (eventually), DQ9 (eventually)
Likely to be enthusiastically shown and then forgotten about completely: StarCraft 2 (ala StarCraft 1)
