Thread: iTunes alternatives

  1. Shit, I always had that idea for a jukebox system that I was going to invent that did all that. But you vote with quarters. $10 and you can have your song on RIGHT NOW.

I think iTunes is fat, stupid, and clunky.

I don't understand how anyone is happy with being forced to use slow, bloated software that other companies can do much better.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1
    My Backloggery

  3. If my computer wasn't awesome I wouldn't use it.

But it is, so I do. Otherwise I'd use foobar or something.

I've never had an issue with iTunes being slow or clunky or whatever.

  5. it is, it sucks on PC

  6. Must be your comp. Its great on mine.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  7. It is a bloated resource hog. It might "run fine" on your computer but that's not really the point.
An iTunes Lite that doesn't include Apple Application Support/Apple Mobile Device Support/Apple Software Update/Bonjour/Quicktime would be pretty nice, but then it would just be called foobar2000.

  8. Songbird is far better than iTunes on windows.

It is extremely bloated. Were I running a PC I would not use it. I'd also have a Zune as well. Great piece of machinery.
