Going from a dual core CPU, DDR2, and an 8800GT to a six core CPU, DDR3, and a GTX460 should be fun. I need to go get a new PSU before I can use the 8800GT for PhysX though.

Sounds like we had the same setup. How fast was your dual core?

I don't recall the clock speed. It was an Athlon XP 5200+, so not real fast. Now I'm literally at the top of the AMD food chain with the Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition. I just ran Crysis on High in 3D, and it was playable. Holy shit. Now to try some DX11 action in AvP and Metro 2033.

Sounds about where I am. Like I can run just about anything comfortably, aside from Crysis on high. Card and CPU are all that's left to be upgraded.
