EDIT: Error 640, means the game client doesn't match something or other, so away I go to download the official Client an and alternative patched client and hope for the best!

yeah, I have the official JP client and got in fine.
I'm absolutely floored by how good this is. GiantBomb did a quick look that sums it up nicely "PSO2 is what I remember PSO1 being...and not what it actually was"
Combat's super fast and arcadey, and even thought I can't understand anything, everything's arranged in a way where you can fumble through and be ok.
