Not getting a good balance of the x8 shot and the swooping attack (which is seemingly all I use once the headless ballerinas show up). How morbid is that.
on the screen select mode, is the first option the screen scrolling one? and is the one with the X's to the sides the non scrollling? I know this is on so many console shooters... but i forget
and oh yeah, my scores are sucking! but i'll keep trying!
This is full-screen tate mode. You'll have to flip the monitor itself to use this. Just turn it off, let it rest for a moment, flip, and turn it back on. And away you go.
This is the first mode for playing the game with your monitor horizontal. All your bomb/life/coin/etc information is listed to the sides instead of on the playfield itself.
Same story as above, except this time all the information is on the actual playfield.
You TATE addict!!! Even when the game looks better horizontally at the normal resolution, you still flip for tate!!!
...actually my monitor is too big & heavy (weighs more than my tv) and there isnt a safe amount of space without its stand. You probably have one of those thin monitors just for easy tate-ing! tate freak!!!
Also, while i'm in the annoying question mood, what is with the joystick options? There is a bar underneath each player config... whats that adjust?
Well, I just got a free monitor which is flipped permantly next to my desk now. How did I get this montior, you might ask? Because the colors are screwed up in a big giant rainbow of red, green, and blue across the screen. But it's something like 25" and free, so I ain't complaining.
Hmm, seems easier and easier to get high scores in stage 2-1, but I still suck at them in 1-1. Yet that 191,000,000 score seems utterly ridiculous. I must find a way...
