No I didn't read that on the internet. Unless you're sitting right on top of the tv the average person is not going to be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 720p on a 32 inch set.
If you're gonna drag your sandy ass cunt around this forum to post annoying replies to all of my posts you should probably try harder next time.
I'm on the side of whomever didn't use "amirite."
"Whoever"'s the one you want, there, champ. iamrite
whosoever
I can tell the difference. Haha.
You can get a decent LED television for under $1200. It won't be 50" though.
The black levels between a Plasma and LCD aren't quite as far apart as it once was. I'm not a big fan of Plasma, because the whites are more like gray, and the screen is too dark during low lit scenes. I love the black levels on my Samsung LCD.

The whites are more like realistic. LCD whites are bright like the sun, they do not represent accurate color. In a dark room the black levels are not that close. If a plasma can already produce the brightness required for the image to be accurate, what does it matter that it can't burn your retinas? As LCD panels have gotten thinner off-axis viewing angles have been getting worse, not better. Moving 15-20 degrees off center can change the appearance of the image on an LCD. Add in that plasma is a ton cheaper and there really is no reason to get an LED LCD tv.
