So it seems like it was just a terrible demo. I keep reading how this is pretty fucking sweet, like a new non-paradise open world Burnout.

I watched the gametrailers review. This game looks pretty awesome. May even look better than Need for Speed: Most Wanted. I'll still wait for a price drop, though.

$35 on black Friday for the best arcade racer I've played in a while.

Also, if you want an open world racer, jump off a cliff. This has it, but I just use the interface to jump into races.

It's like a new Burnout, just with the NFS name and fucking AWESOME Hot Pursuit races. The soundtrack's actually decent, and aside from some stupid forced trailers, and unskippable parts to pre-race stuff, there isn't much EA-style bullshit to wade through.
